Seaway has been associated with the sailing industry for the past 40 years in the development of hydraulic equipment, from the first back stay tensioners, vangs and capstans to sophisticated sailing systems for super yachts. We specialise in the custom yacht that requires individual services backed up with long term support.

Over the past 30 years we have concentrated on the development of hydraulic systems for the super yacht market. This has been successful and we now have many of the worlds leading yachts carrying our equipment.

We were the first company to develop the hydraulic captive winch, of which we made some 140 units.

NEW PREMISES

Seaway Powell (IMH) LTD has recently move into new premises in Shaftesbury, Dorset.  In November 2005 we moved in to 24K Wincombe Business Park. After the first very busy year we found ourselves needing more room and took on 24J(jan 2007) making them one unit. We now have a Machine shop area, Hydraulic test area, Clean assembly area and a Hose and fitting trade counter.
